About the Society of St. Vincent de Paul

As part of an international Catholic lay organization, we are inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ and are deeply committed to serving our neighbors in need. Through direct service to our neighbors, our members strive for both personal and spiritual growth. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Cathedral Conference brings together parish members from the Cathedral of the Risen Christ and Blessed Sacrament parishes, carrying on a proud tradition within the Lincoln Diocese for over 40 years. 

Who We Help

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul assists families and individuals in the Lincoln area with household bills, furniture, food, gas and other vehicle needs, clothing, school supplies, and other essential goods and services. 

If someone you know needs assistance, the St. Gabriel Call Center's volunteer staff are available to take calls. You can reach them at 402-HELP YOU (402-435-7968). 

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10am - Noon
• Wednesday: 5:30pm-7:30pm

Parishioners in need may contact the rectory directly, where they will be connected to our conference for further assistance.
