We encourage our parishioners to live a life of stewardship in which we return gratefully to God a tithe of our time, talent and treasurer. In Cathedral Parish there are numerous opportunities to get involved.

Perpetual Adoration Chapel is located within the Bishop's Chapel. The living Christ in the Tabernacle is honored by an around-the-clock chain of prayers. Year in and year out there is at least one person in this Cathedral praying in front of the Tabernacle. The Perpetual Adoration Program was begun in 1959. People volunteering for Perpetual Adoration take one hour of prayer each week.

Come and Pray: Jesus extends this personal invitation to each of us. There is a great need for substitute adorers. When a regular adorer is out of town or ill, there is a need for someone to fill in for them. If your schedule does not permit you to take a regular hour, please prayerfully consider being a substitute. See the "Adoration Pro" section below for details on how to sign up.

Bishop's Chapel can be accessed by walking through the doors on the left side of the main alter and proceeding down the hallway just beyond the entrance to the Sacristy.

Signing up as a Weekly or Substitute Adorer

Are you interested in signing up for a weekly holy hour commitment or as a substitute adorer? We use Adoration Pro for adoration sign ins, to keep track of open hours, and to request substitutes.

Our Cathedral Adoration Pro homepage is www.AdorationPro.org/CRChrist. Once there, you can click "Weekly Commitment" to view open hours of adoration and sign up for a weekly holy hour or you can click "Become a Sub" underneath the button for "Weekly Commitment."

If you sign up for a weekly commitment, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for requesting a substitute, should you ever need one.

If you sign up as a substitute, you will receive a message for each substitute request. You can accept the request if you are available or you can ignore the message if you are not able to sub for that hour.

As a committed weekly adorer or substitute adorer, when you arrive for your holy hour, you will tap "Adorer Sign In" on the iPad. You will then select "Scheduled Adorer Sign In (or substitute)" and then tap the white circle next to your name. You are now signed in for your hour!
